2010 Dead BillsMississippi House Bill 133
SUMMARY: Prohibits outdoor advertising promoting and marketing of alcoholic beverages on public and private property in areas with high rates of crime and violence, underperforming schools or low incidence of housing that is owner-occupied. Prohibits outdoor advertising of alcoholic beverages within five hundred (500) feet of public and private playgrounds, elementary and secondary schools, and places of worship.

2009 Dead BillsArkansas Senate Bill 338
SUMMARY: Limits the posting of advertisements for alcoholic beverages on the exterior of buildings to where a retail license or permit to sell an alcoholic beverage is held. Exterior postings cannot be paid for in any way.

New Mexico Senate Bill 514
SUMMARY: Would have limited alcohol advertising near youth activities and banned alcoholic beverage outdoor advertisements within five hundred feet of any public playground, elementary school, secondary school, institution of higher learning or child care facility.
