ALCOHOL & DRUG SECTION:
The program serves as an administrative office that contracts the majority of its federal, state and local funds to 12 community-based, non-profit organizations. Within these 12 agencies, twenty-three programs are delivered including: residential treatment for men, women and women with children; outpatient treatment for adults; methadone maintenance services; primary and secondary prevention services for adolescents and adults; school-based counseling services; perinatal case management and outreach services; HIV testing and early intervention services; residential and outpatient services for parolees; First- and Multiple-Offender Drinking Driver programs; Drug Diversion program for adults; adolescent day treatment and; a Neighborhood Recovery Center located in Marin City.

The Office is responsible for ensuring Contractor's compliance in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local laws, statutes, rules, regulations, guidelines and ordinances. Both informal and formal monitoring of contract objectives and use of funds are performed as well as technical assistance in program planning and implementation.

ELIGIBILITY:
Eligibility requirements differ among the various contracted treatment providers. In all treatment agencies, a sliding scale fee, approved by the County Alcohol & Drug Administrator, is applied. Drug/Medi-Cal funding is also available for some treatment modalities.
