Alcohol-fueled violence is ruining America’s favorite pastimes. Beer brawls erupt in the basketball stands. A Boston Red Sox riot leaves a young woman dead. Fans attack other fans and even the players.
One problem player is Aramark, the vendor who’s serving alcohol at so many of your stadiums.
Aramark is the same company recently found liable for $110 million in damages for repeatedly serving an intoxicated NY Giants football fan who then crashed into a family, paralyzing a little girl. After drunken fans attacked Jeff Black and his young son at a Colorado Rockies game last year, Aramark sold yet another jumbo beer to one of the assailants. A recent episode of Inside Edition shows that Aramark is still serving fans more drinks than they’re supposed to at many sports venues.
Clearly, Aramark’s unsafe serving practices make it threat to fans. If Aramark were a player in any professional sport, they’d be cut from the roster by now. Aramark is one liability you can’t afford on your team.
I urge you to Eject Aramark from the Game and get serious about fan safety. Alcohol serving practices need to be strengthened and security measures enhanced at all sports venues. Only then will all fans enjoy your games without fear of alcohol-fueled violence.
Sincerely,
