Thumbs Up
Gourmet Magazine offers alternative to alcohol. |
|
to Gourmet Magazine for highlighting fruit-based beverages as an alternative to alcohol in its July 2004 issue. Gourmet Magazine typically embraces wine as the complimentary beverage to a meal, rarely providing nonalcoholic alternatives. For cultures that abstain from alcohol, Gourmet Magazine should regularly feature nonalcoholic alternatives. Since roughly two-thirds of Americans either abstain or drink alcohol infrequently, we hope Gourmet will continue to provide this useful information.
