Youth With A Vengeance (YWAV) |

to the Youth Leadership Institute’s (YLI) Friday Night Live, “Youth With A Vengeance” (YWAV) group for transforming a liquor store in San Francisco, California’s Tenderloin neighborhood that was plastered in alcohol industry advertisements. YWAV painted the store and decorated it with drug-free drawings by local elementary school youth. The owner of the liquor store is happy the young people offered an alternative way to decorate without using the free images provided by alcohol companies. YLI hopes this project will be the first of many beautified liquor stores and that others will choose to follow suit.
